33 1/3 was just announced as one of three musicals on the short list for the Playwrights Guild of Canada Stage West Pechet Family Musical Award. The winner will be announced on October 25.

33 1/3 begins performances tonight at the Canadian Musical Theatre Project at Sheridan College, running 8-10 October.  33 1/3 is directed by Andrew Kushnir, musically directed by James Smith, and features Tyler Check, Nicola Hadjis, Micah Richardson, Jordan Shore, and Jacques St. Pierre.  Pictured here is the cast rehearsing with James Smith at the piano.
